Suitability:
Osmo Country Colour can be used on the following woods:
- Oak
- Beech
- Ash
- Alder
- Birch
Surface Preparation:
- Wood surface must be clean, dry and frost-free
- Make sure to stir before use
- Make sure any old paint or lacquers are completely removed before application
- If sanding, make sure to wear a dusk mask
- We would always recommend a trial period, especially when applying to unfamiliar surfaces
Method of Application:
- We would recommend applying with a flat brush or microfibre roller in a thin and even manner to clean and dry wood. Make sure to follow the wood grain and spread well.
- Ensure you leave to dry in a well ventilated place for between 10-12hrs
- Once dry, apply a thin, second coat
Additional Notes:
- If surfaces in outdoor areas (e.g. window cladding) should have additional protection, apply one top coat of Osmo UV Protection Oil Clear (420 with film protection) after thoroughly drying.
- This ensures the application is protected against dirt contamination and extends the life of the finish.
