The brackets themselves are solid and look good, although I thought they would be black rather than a pewter grey colour, however this did not detract from their attractiveness. I would have given a five star review except the screws that came with them were of poor quality (my builders opinion) as he has had to source other screws to complete job.

Solid, nicely made, look as good in the flesh as they do in the promotional images. Hefty feel to them. I will be buying from here again should I need to. Only slight niggle is that on the smaller bracket as I bought, the screw-hole is fairly narrow, but I think that's just an unavoidable consequence of the smaller size. I couldn't speak for larger ones, but I would hope that they would have a larger screw-hole to accommodate thicker, more heavy duty screws. You may want to check that. The bracket itself is certainly up to heavy-duty work, you just need to select your screws carefully to match. The provided screws are fine for most purposes. I was using these to hold up a heavy oak mantel, hence wanting longer, stronger screws than most people would.
