Osmo Country Colours Preparation and Application
Preparation
- Ensure your wooden surface is clean, dry and frost free with a maximum moisture content of 20%
- Make sure you thoroughly stir before using Osmo Country Colours
- Before applying the first layer, it is advisable to try a test patch first
- We would recommend applying the first layer before installation as well as removing all traces of any old paints or lacquers
- Ensure you wear a dust mask when sanding
Application
- Apply thinly and evenly along the wood grain to the clean, dry wood using an Osmo Flat Brush or Osmo Microfibre Roller ensuring to distribute well
- Once the first coat is applied, aim for 10 - 12 hours of dry time with sufficient ventilation
- Then apply a second, equally thin application once the first coat has dried
