Oakcrafts, like so many other small business’s started as a hobby producing a range of personalised oak gifts from coat racks to chopping and gin boards.
Customers started asking to purchase some of the hardware items we used in production such as shaker pegs and cast iron hooks and this was the beginning of the range we offer today. At present we don’t supply our range of personalised products due to time constraints however we do hope to start again in the not too distant future.
We have one simple rule;
Treat Customers Fairly
If a problem occurs, because they will, deal with it promptly and most importantly communicate. Answer that email straight away, even if it’s just to acknowledge you’re dealing with it and carry out your promises.
We don’t always get it right but some of our most loyal customers are ones who encountered a problem and then experienced us dealing with it.
For many companies packing and shipping is both costly and time consuming. We decided at an early stage to outsource all our logistics, a decision which has allowed us to dedicate our time to growing the business and increasing our product range.
We use an international company who hold our stock for us and ship using a number of carriers depending on the product size and weight.
All our products are shipped free of charge within the UK on a 2 – 3 day service. We do offer a next day service which is available at checkout for an extra cost.
